Our Donors
The Clinica Maxeña is the Guatemalan Mission of the Diocese of Helena Montana. Its operation is supported by the Diocese, but the Eye Care Mission Trips are self supported by our volunteers and donors.
Volunteers
Our volunteer physicians and operating room personnel donate their time and personal travel expenses for each trip, and do not receive remuneration.
Equipment
Our clinic examination equipment, laser, and operating room equipment have been donated by individual donors, Santa Cruz and Los Gatos Rotary Clubs, and the Lions Club.
Supplies
Our medications, surgical supplies, and intraocular lenses for cataract surgery are donated by Alcon, Bausch & Lomb, Allergan, and Abbott/AMO. We also appreciate the use of ultrasound equipment from MicroMedical Devices.

If medications and supplies are not provided by donors, we must purchase them with private funds.
Private Donors
We would be happy to add you to our list of private donors. Your funding can help us with our equipment and supply needs, and to supplement expenses for volunteers. Donations are tax deductible if made to the Los Gatos Rotary Charities Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
